Christiansen-Arner Sculptures are a collaboration with nature through the medium of stone. Many of their hand carved, one-of-a-kind stone sculptures have been included in their over forty years of landscape design. For the last twenty years, stone carving and water sculpture has been their primary focus. These sculptures have been placed in a variety of settings, including commercial projects like wineries, medical, dental, and law offices, hotels, churches, and spas. Many of the pieces are water features that have been placed in residential settings to enhance home entry ways, pool areas, waterfalls and gardens. The sculptures vary from contemporary and modern art to more natural inspired forms including waterfalls. Many of these sculptures also enhance indoor atrium's.

Christiansen-Arner carves a variety of kinds of stone, including Granite, Marble, Serpentine, Labrodorite, Jade, Jasper, Basalt and many others. As each of the pieces are hand carved, a deep relationship is formed between the stone and the artists. This is called direct carving when the artists do not impose but respond to what the stone tells them. Because nothing is added or welded or manufactured, each piece stands alone as a unique work of art. The scale of these sculptures varies from small to monumental-over ten feet. To the artists, the combination of stone and water is a reflection of the beauty and simplicity of the natural world. Many of theses sculptures are healing and transform the space they are placed, creating harmony, peace and beauty.
